Thaqifah

Teacher

With a background in social work and a heart for children with diverse needs, Thaqifah has supported young people across a variety of settings — from children’s homes to creative classrooms and therapy spaces. She began her career working with children with special needs, gaining hands-on experience in behavioural intervention, emotional regulation, social skills, and trauma-informed care. During her experience when venturing into music education, she developed tailored teaching strategies, adapted resources, and creative supports to help each student thrive at their own pace while guiding them through graded music examinations.

Building on this experience and a desire to support children more holistically, Thaqifah went on to work in early intervention programmes at private centres and gained hands-on experience as an occupational therapist assistant, thus deepened her understanding of child development and individualised support.

At Fun Feats, she combines her expertise in behavioural intervention, curriculum development, and personalised support to create meaningful learning experiences. Her approach is grounded in empathy, creativity, and the belief that every child deserves to learn, grow, and feel connected in their everyday lives.

Her qualifications include:

  • Advanced Diploma in Special Education (College of Allied Educators)
  • Diploma in Psychology (Management Development Institute of Singapore)
  • Certificate in the Early Learners Foundations of Structured TEACCHing (University of North Carolina)
  • Certificate in Autism (Autism Resource Centre)

Outside of her professional work, she enjoys film photography, exploring nature, and spending quality time with her loved ones.
